Emily offers opportunities for students to join her in her studio in Tarrytown, NY, located at 1 Central Ave. Suite 302.

Young Artists Program

We offer small group art lessons for children of all ages and experience levels. My mom Liz Golden, who has an extensive background in children's education, co-instructs these individualized and child-centered art lessons. If you think your child would be interested in self-directed studio time in a working artist's studio, with access to a large variety of materials and media, as well as personal guidance, encouragement, and curation of projects, then these classes might be the perfect fit!

Advanced Lessons for Teens

Older students have the option of either sticking with an open ended and self directed curriculum, or trying a more academic model of training in drawing and painting from life. Teens may want to use these lessons to build their portfolio for school applications. Work study and internship opportunities are also available for highschool and college students.

Pricing and Scheduling

• Spots are available Tuesdays-Saturdays, with flexible and personalized scheduling options.

• One on one sessions are $30/hr

• Small groups (ideally 3 at the most) are $25/hr per child

• During the summer there is an opportunity for concentrated summer-camp style bookings. 

• Sliding scale pricing and flexible payment plans are available to make classes affordable for all budgets.
